Description

Heliocare Pediatrics Mineral Sunscreen is a gentle and effective way to protect delicate pediatrics skin from the harmful effects of the sun. This lightweight fluid is easy to apply and won't leave any white residue.  Its mineral formula makes it perfect for even the most sensitive skin.

With mineral-only filters and niacinamide, Heliocare Pediatrics Mineral Sunscreen not only shields your child's skin from the sun's rays but also strengthens the skin barrier.

Heliocare Pediatrics Mineral Sunscreen is a top-rated sunscreen with SPF50+ protection. It offers critical wavelength of at least 370nm and PA++++ protection. Heliocare Pediatrics Mineral Sunscreen is very water-resistant for up to 80 minutes and is also sand-resistant. It is easy to apply and spread, and has been tested around sensitive eyes.

Heliocare Pediatric Mineral Sunscreen has also been tested on atopic and sensitive skin of babies and children from 6 months old. It is fragrance-free, paraben-free, and alcohol-free, making it a safe and effective choice for sun protection for all skin types, including atopic skin.

Protecting skin from sun damage is important year-round, not just during the summer months. Harmful UVA, visible light, and infrared-A rays can penetrate through clouds and glass, causing premature aging and skin health issues.

Heliocare 360° Pediatrics Mineral Sunscreen is specially formulated to provide high-level protection for sensitive and atopic skin. It is fragrance-free, paraben-free, and alcohol-free, making it a safe and gentle option for all skin types. The Heliocare Pediatrics Mineral Sunscreen is also top-rated sunscreen with SPF50+ protection. It has a PA++++ rating and a critical wavelength of ≥370nm, making it an effective shield against harmful UV rays.

One of the key ingredients in Heliocare Pediatrics Mineral Sunscreen is Fernblock®, a powerful anti-oxidant derived from the fern Polypodium Leucotomos. Fernblock® is fortified with ferulic and caffeic acid, making it a supercharged anti-oxidant that defends key skin cells and proteins against damage. With over 80 clinical papers supporting its effectiveness, Fernblock® provides free radical anti-oxidant protection, fibroblast protection, collagen protection, Langerhans cell protection, DNA protection and repair, and reduces sun-induced skin reactions.

The Heliocare Pediatric Mineral Sunscreen is specifically formulated for pediatric use and comes with a very water-resistant and sand-resistant formula.

About Patented Fernblock®

Heliocare is a skincare range that contains Fernblock®, a powerful antioxidant that fights against harmful free radicals in the skin. Fernblock® is derived from the Polypodium Leucotomos fern, which has a natural defense mechanism against the sun. This patented extract is enriched with ferulic and caffeic acid, making Heliocare 360° exceptional in its ability to protect the skin.
Fernblock® helps to defend important skin cells and proteins from damage, including providing antioxidant protection against free radicals, protecting fibroblasts and collagen, shielding Langerhans cells, and supporting DNA protection and repair. Heliocare Technology

Heliocare products offer protection against harmful UV rays and other environmental stressors. One of the key ingredients in Heliocare products is Fractional Biomimetic Melanin, which is a synthetic form of melanin derived from plants. This ingredient sits on the surface of the skin and absorbs harmful wavelengths of visible light.

Additionally, Heliocare products contain OTTZ-10 Pro-Taurine, which helps defend against infrared-A radiation by penetrating deeply into the skin and converting into the antioxidant taurine.

Heliocare products also contain both mineral and non-mineral filters with Sunsphere technology, which deflect and absorb UVA and UVB rays. Additionally, Heliocare uses DNA repair enzymes to reduce damage to both the nucleus and mitochondria of DNA, resulting in a 30% reduction in damage to the latter. With Heliocare, you can enjoy the sun without worrying about damaging your skin.

Finally, Heliocare products incorporate daily antioxidants like vitamins C and E, which effectively neutralize free radicals and regenerate each other, along with green tea extract known for its potent antioxidant activity and protection of Langerhans cells.

To ensure maximum protection from the sun, shake the Heliocare Pediatrics Mineral Sunscreen before use and apply it evenly and generously before sun exposure.

It is important to reapply frequently, especially after swimming or sweating. Avoid direct contact with eyes and mucous membranes, and avoid sun exposure during peak hours when the sun is strongest. Babies and young children should not be exposed to direct sun.

CAN YOU USE HELIOCARE ON CHILDREN?

Yes, Heliocare formulas can be used on children of 3 years of age and older.  The Heliocare capsules can be used by children from the age of 4 and older.

WHAT ARE CAN YOU USE HELIOCARE PEDIATRICS?

It is recommended to use Heliocare pediatrics products on babies and children from 6 months +.  The formulas can be used on the face and body.

IS HELIOCARE GOOD SUNSCREEN?

Heliocare 360 is a highly effective sunscreen that provides exceptional protection against harmful UV rays. This product not only delivers on its promises, but it also has a pleasant scent and goes on smoothly. In addition to protecting your skin, Heliocare 360 can even out your complexion and leave your skin feeling refreshed and revitalized. For those with allergies and sensitive skin, Heliocare has hypoallergenic and fragrence free formulas.

IS HELIOCARE CHEMICAL OR MINERAL SUNSCREEN?

Heliocare offers a range of sunscreens that include both chemical and mineral options, but their 100% mineral formulas are particularly noteworthy. These formulas provide exceptional photo immunoprotection, thanks to a unique combination of advanced mineral filters and exclusive ingredients. With broad spectrum coverage against UVA, UVB, visible light, and IR-A, Heliocare's mineral sunscreens offer top-notch protection against the harmful effects of the sun.

IS MINERAL SUNSCREEN BETTER FOR KIDS?

or young children and those with dry skin or eczema, pediatricians and dermatologists recommend using physical or mineral sunscreens that contain titanium dioxide or zinc oxide. It's also important to avoid using spray-on sunscreens, as they can be inhaled and potentially harmful. One popular brand of physical sunscreen is Heliocare, which is known for its high level of protection and gentle formula.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY SUNSCREEN IS MINERAL OR CHEMICAL?

On the label of your sunscreen you can check the ingredients list and look for the words zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.  If so, then the formula contains mineral UV filters.  It is possible for the formula to also contain both mineral and chemical UV filters. When in doubt, it is recommended you speak with a formulation expert to verify the formula.
